I remember reading a blog about how it’s a bad idea to write blog posts that apologize for not writing blog posts. This blog is an island with a solitary inbound link coming from a site that hasn’t been updated in a year. That site has a solitary no-follow linkĀ from my Twitter account, @bzalasky, from which I suppose it’s tied into the Internet at large. My goal is not to give John Donne a run for his money, rather, this post was written just in case, by some marvelous stroke of misfortune, you’ve stumbled upon this desolate plain, this backwater bog of the Internet. This blog may well come to life this year, and these apologetic posts will be dead and buried. It’s funny to come across things you’ve written in the past… “markedly different from accepted norms…” yeah, that was a good one Ben. Accepted blogging norms: updates a few times a week. Zero updates in 16 months = success.
This blog has been neglected…
